The Provincial “Stay-At-Home” order of April 7, 2021 currently allows marinas and boat clubs to remain open, as long as there is compliance with all COVID-19 protocols. The situation is fluid and may change at any time.

Measures to follow under the Emergency Order:

  1. The Club house is closed and off limits except for emergencies: first aid, telephone. BBQ is closed.

  2. Perform self-screening before arriving at the club: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/screening/customer/

  3. Maintain at least 2 m of distance between individuals from different households.

  4. Wear a mask whenever there is the possibility that 2 m physical distancing might not be possible.

  5. Members ONLY can access the grounds to prepare and launch their boats with the condition that they strictly follow COVID protocols at all times.  Gathering in groups outside of immediate households on club grounds is prohibited under the provincial order.  You, the club, and the club officers could face potential penalties for violation.

  6. Staff and volunteers may access the clubhouse in order to perform their duties.

  7. Washroom access is permitted, once the water is turned on.

  8. Shed and sail room access is permitted. However, the sail room will only be accessible once club items stored for the winter are removed.
